Air fryer sweet soy sauce chicken recipe

1 tbsp vinegar | |
2 tbsp sweet fruit chutney (I used a peach-mango chutney) | |
1 tbsp minced garlic | |
1 tbsp ginger, finely chopped |
Cooking Notes
Bite into juicy chicken cooked in a sweet and savory soy sauce glaze, all effortlessly prepared in the air fryer. Enjoy this for lunch with a salad, rice, or wrap it in crispy lettuce leaves.
Preparation time: 20 mins (and additional 60 mins for marination)
Makes 2–3 servings.
Method
- Combine the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl and mix well.
- Add the chicken fillets to the marinade and coat nicely. Refrigerate the marinating chicken for about one hour.
- Place the marinated chicken in the air fryer basket. For a no-mess cook, line your air fryer with aluminium foil or parchment paper.
- Cook at 180°C for 10 minutes. Then flip the chicken, top with the additional 1 tbsp of fruit chutney, and cook for another 10 mins or till the internal temperature is 70°C.
- Serve hot with rice and some greens.
