Air fryer sweet soy sauce chicken recipe
Ingredients
280 gm chicken breasts, cut into fillets (about 2 breasts)
For the marinade:
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp sweet fruit chutney (I used a peach-mango chutney)
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- ½ tbsp ginger, finely chopped
For the air fryer:
1 tbsp sweet fruit chutney

Bite into juicy chicken cooked in a sweet and savory soy sauce glaze, all effortlessly prepared in the air fryer. Enjoy this for lunch with a salad, rice, or wrap it in crispy lettuce leaves.
Preparation time: 20 mins (and additional 60 mins for marination)
Makes 2-3 servings.
Prepare your ingredients
Soy sauce, vinegar, sweet fruit chutney, minced garlic, finely chopped ginger
Step 1: Combine the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl and mix well.
Step 2
Add the chicken fillets to the marinade and coat nicely. Refrigerate the marinating chicken for about one hour.
Step 3
Place the marinated chicken in the air fryer basket. For a no-mess cook, line your air fryer with aluminium foil or parchment paper.
Step 4
Cook on 180°C for 10 minutes. Then flip the chicken, top with the additional 1 tbsp of fruit chutney, and cook for another 10 mins or till the internal temperature is 70°C.
